I went over a year without a post! How embarrassing!
A lot has changed, I became a ranger, passed 7th, the castle actually opened, and I actually started training detha!
Anyways, here's a bunch of sketches of stuff that happened between now and my last post.

Today I was kept busy hunting for a loong time. When I first came came out of the library I was asked to go to the lily pond with a few people to act as brick. It was going well until three lsw came and killed two of the fighters and a healer.
Next I went to MI with Lorikeet and Lerris. The island was empty except for a vp and boloks, so I suggested we kill some golems. We were able to kill all the golems there except for the ones in the tower, which we didn't attempt (but I bet we coulda killed them too). Both me and Lerris fell more than I would have liked but I think we did good overall. Next time I go there I will be sure to do better!
Right after that Lorikeet, Kisa, Blitz and I went to Metz. We were the only ones out of the library so that made it a little bit more exciting.. if we fell no one could save us! We did get close to all falling once but we were able to recover and continue. Blitz was able to start and finish rud studies and shortly after he finished the studies we had to run back to cove to avoid another near disaster.
After we got to the cove Lorikeet, Zehl, Kisa, Hoggle, Connie and I went to valley. It was rather uneventful.. did one run, killed typical valley stuff on the way, then continued on to foothills with Zehl and Gremlins joining us.
Foothills started off rather bad for me, a few seconds after leaving CD for foothills a big mean rock came and fell on me! After that hold up we continued on to kill many mnw! I am not sure how many coins we made but Connie said we got 500c each, and that is good news for Raul!
After spending a while at the foothills we ran around dredwood. We cleared the first snell and then cleared the one to the north, then lured things from the really bolty snell with the barricade before we left.
After dredwood a few of us join a large group at the myrm have. There were a number of stronger myrms there today, like yesterday, but not nearly as many. The group was able to quickly push onwards to the qc, and kill everything inside of it.
Soon after all the myrm were dead, I did KI cove with Nyla and Nemesis, and did KI inland with Kitlin, Pe Ell, and Kestral added. It seemed a lot of the lyfes were sick, but we were able to get a lot done.
After KI, Lorikeet and me went to do valley. I think its a bit more interesting with only two people. We had quite a few beetles on entry and even more beetles spawned while we were killing them, but soon they were all dead and we continued outside. The first couple snells had kitties and the next ones had some sas. We employed a strange strategy but it seemed to work for us. After we did one run we got news that a chaos storm was coming, so rather than exit we decided to go backwards and kill anything that might have spawned before the chaos storm hit.
After the storm I woke up in the temple. At this point I was pretty tired. I had been hunting for about 7 and a half mainland hours nonstop (save a few 5 minute breaks). I lied down in tc and ended up falling asleep.
This was the most and longest I have hunted in quite a while. After it was all over I found myself 4 trainings stronger and a bit worse for wear. I do hope to have more days like this, but hopefully not too often. A fen can only hunt so much!

Metzetli Island

Today, a new island was discovered by Ansset. It is just south of Dal'noth and contains a wide variety of new wildlife! One of the first things we encountered there were the haremau kitties and the rudremau. A bit further west we found the adult haremaru, which were very vicious. After defeating the beast, we headed west and found black mambas, toads and a big pit. Do not go into the pit. After we departed from that pit, we headed west and north to a cave full of gloaming wendecka, and a few wall arachne. After heading east from inside the cave, we found a couple of paths, and used some creative tactics to explore them. Most of the paths lead nowhere, but there was one we decided was too dangerous and skipped. We then followed a mystic path where we found what looks like a ruined wall of a structure (the only sign of sapient life we have found so far). After we went through one or two more paths, the group met its second mass depart. Most of the group then headed to the library, but soon after another group of exiles went back to the island and went north to find a place inhabited by twilight wendecka and basalt greymyr. After a bad spawn, the group left, but as they left I joined another headed west to explore. I joined up with them to find many of the same I have already seen on the island, until after many hours we had a run in with three adult haromau, which lead to the group's disbandment, and my third depart on the island (froggy!). By this time only a handful of exiles are roaming the Lok'Groton islands, which leaves to to write this journal entry. Hope you have enjoyed seeing a small bit of the island if you haven't yet.

Orga Warlocks (and some HH)

This whole thing started when several bolts came into town from the east and hit Skirwan. At first it seemed he would survive, but after a bit more bolts came he fell. I thought it was just the gods playing with us, but it was soon found out that it wasn't the case. From the northeast came more bolts, striking me down. The origin was soon found, as around twenty orga warlocks came into town, claiming it as their own. Soon exiles began taking refuge inside the temple and library, but the warlocks, as a pack, headed into the library causing a bit of panic, until they left and went into the temple while zapping anyone foolish enough to get in their path.
Soon there were enough exiles in town to counter them, and they were driven eastward, and to make a long story short, we killed them in east town, both of the east fields, tanglewood, the meadow, and OC1, and there were some butterflies found while exiting. Not anyone I know of went to Snaggy or OC2 afterwards, so if you are going there soon, take caution.
On the subject of Snaggy, a group of exiles went there looking for orgaberries yesterday. While going through the Tonle sn'ell, we ran into the phantasm collector which Azriel notes on in his journal. We eventually went through Wisher's Gate into Hatred Hollow. It was going well until.. everyone fell. (Suu'ub -almost- got out with our PFer, Richard) In a reasonable amount of time (considering we were in HH) we were rescued and chained to the trainer's grotto. We were healed and left via Snagglewood. Thanks to both groups that came to rescue us!

Noids Stuff

When I got there horus was being called. (Anyone want to add all that horus power up? someone said 10k or something) After everyone got healed and after some stronger exiles made a few runs inside, I finally got the courage to go inside. It was crazy! Webs coming one after the other at five different exiles. We slowly made our was south to kill all of the big noids. There were at elast 6 black widows, and no telling how many emeralds. It took a few tries but eventually everything died. The whole thing lasted about six (ooc) hours. After it was all over there was no sign of anything happening there.. and thats all I remember about that. Bye!

Meshra Invasion

Yesterday after coming back from Ash Island, there was a report of several meshra in west town, and of course, like an idiot, I ran over to see how many. I ran around some but got stuck between the meshra chasing me and the meshra pouring in from the southwest farms. After being trapped for a while, I fell and watched the meshra continue to pour in. Then after about 15 minutes, Puddleby's defenders came and I was able to start helping out. We drove them back to the farms, and then the beach. Before we progressed to kitty beach, I decided to peek inside of the meshra lair, and to my surprise I saw a keg of stout! I then got out of there quickly and joined the group headed to kitty beach. Once there, the meshra were killed and most of us went back to the meshra lair to either kill them or drink. As we progressed through, more and more kegs were discovered, and while most everyone was getting drunk, a black widow was found roaming about. It ran back closer to the surface and a group there managed kill it ..and then we all partied.

The spawns at KB were something you had to see. I heard it broadcasted over the sunstone network that there was a '1000 artak spawn' at kb. Of course I thought they were exaturating, and expected around 20. Was I wrong. As soon as I stepped in I was met by six artaks, and the numbers grew and grew. I found that Super Chicken had most of them surrounded, and when I thought it was over I managed to kill or help kill exactly 40 of them, no telling how many I didn't even hit. So when we thought it was all over, another spawn greeted us. They came quickly, and we didn't have much time to take a defensive position. After about twenty seconds we had a wall of fallens acting as zu, and not many healers were standing, and then while we were slowly loosing the battle, two forest drakes and one fire drake appeared out of the sky. They didn't cause much of a problem as their flames could not reach us. Not long after a group of rangers came and killed the artaks surrounding us. You could hear another fall one after the other until they were all gone. As we were still healing, a few more drakes came, but were quickly killed. We were then met by over fifty summer artaks. With most of the rangers still with us, they were taken care of much more quickly than the other groups. Nothing else came after that, and I managed to pull off about 130c too.

Sorry about the lack of journaly stuff as of late, been pretty busy! Anyways this one is mostly about when Eldon came to the fairgrounds the other day, I don't really remember what we talked about, but there was lots of chickens! I'll tell about the more hunty type stuff first.
Let's see.. there was some dv in vt, an orga beserk on kb, and Omega was down and (not) out!
Now fairgrounds stuff! Let's see.. chickens, chickens with double the bawk, and killer chickens! And then Maryjane smoked us all. Oh! And butterflys.

Carnival!

Today when I stepped out of the library I learned that the carnival was in town! It is located in the east-north field. After stepping through the portal I looked for the game to win shirts. The game is called "Duck Shirts" and costs 75c to play. You have a chance for a duck to land on a colored circle on a 12x12 grid. After winning every kind of shirt and spending 6.5k, I finally won the bright green shirt. Currently the carnie who runs Duck Shirts isn't there anymore.
I then played a game much like Duck Shirts, except it was for coins. The game cost 2c to play, and there is a chance for a rock to land on a colored rectangle on a 4x4 grid.
There are several game just for fun that don't cost anything like pushball (where you slip and slide), a game where you make the weight go to the bell, a love tester (which I passed :D) and a tilt-a-whirl.
The last game was bumper boats where you could run into people and make them go out of control!
You could buy several snacks and drinks there, and there were two costumes available to wear. (the two top ones) Also there was a scale! I weighed 58 stone (812 pounds/368 kg!)
I will probably write more after the Duck Shirts guy comes back.

Jade Noids and a Sugary Shrine

Today I was at jade noids noids for a while. Many people came and left, and I joined somewhere in the middle of it. Not soon after I came things turned south, as you can see on the side. We were quickly rescued, and before long we went to the second chamber. It was my first time there and it seemed a bit easier than I was anticipating. After we cleared the second chamber we went back out and headed to the top. Things got a bit panicy when jades spawned on both sides of us, but we ended up having no problem with it. We went back to the top, and down to the bottem several times and eventually the hunt was over.
Not too long after the jades hunt, I visited the Bakery and I found a ladder leading to a sugary shrine! To my knoledge I'm the first to know about this, and that makes me happy :)

Melabrion's Mines

The other day, after going on golum hunt the group I was with decided to go to the mines. We ended up finding a tin ore and a gold ore, and I happened to win the gold! Suu'ub won the tin. As we continued, things got harder. We ended up going deeper than I have ever gone before, not that I go there often. We had to turn back after we met a barrier of stone because a lime tok'han, fire beetle, and lava beetle were on the same side of the barrier as us. The exit went smoothly with few delays, and soon after we all were in town.
Later I went hunting for furs in the south forest, and ran into several artak, as you can see on the side. Nothing bad happened and they all died, making my pockets heavier.
I've also gotten a new outfit, made from some clothes I haven't worn in a while. I think it looks pretty good.
On another note, I've finished training with Troilus and Skea some time ago and have begun training with Atkus, whose training has already made me lose a swing. Other than that he is a nice guy. Now I must leave to earn back the coins I lost at the coliseum. Bye now!

edit:found a butterfly while coining. also sf is a lot busier when you are the only one hunting it. i'm happy :)
found another butterfly the day after i found the last one. it kissed me right before it died, and then i found another just one snell south. happy again :)
found two more butterflies 30 minutes after the last ones. both at mirror snell, both dies before they kissed me. :)

Butterflies and jade noids!

mass butterflies

Yesterday, me and many others got kissed by a purple butterfly! Yay! I am still a butterfly today and am trying to stay like this for a long time
Later I went to jade noids! What a bad idea. I must have fallen and went to the bottem five times. The whole thing lasted around five hours. I don't remember how things went exactly, but it sorta went like this. We went in, fell after a while, got chained out, went back in to get others in there, fell, another group came, fell, then we all got rescued except for two or something, so we went back in, got trapped behind a backspawn, had other spawn behind us, fell, and then another group saved us. Somewhere in between some people went to the second cavern and fell, but they were able to get chained and ported out.

swamp feral!

Two days ago, I went to the lily pond alone because I was very bored. It looked like it was cleaned out recently, but was able to find a swamp feral, and since I usually come here with a group, I soloed my very first swamp feral. yay! Later, Joe announced that he was having a race competition or something. I got there first, and I won! I didn't win the race, so I'm not really sure what I won. But I'm happy anyways. Then later there was a party in town! Cake, pretzels, and ale. The occasion? Gilgamesh had too many cooking supplies. Yay for him!
Later I went to Dal'noth with a group. Most everyone ended up falling (not me of course!) and then another group came to help us. We ended up finding a Hel'noth and killing it after a long and epic battle of lightning and wiffs. And then later two val'noth zapped me after I fell thus putting me out of the game. We were leaving anyways so it wasn't a big deal. Also in the middle of that I got experience from a clanmate at the first time! Who was the clanmate? Algernon! Yay Algy!

Tahxis cave fun!

This happened a while ago, so I don't remember everything that happened, but a group of us went to the tahxis cave after goung to the river tunnel. After fighting through the scavenger wurms and carn wurms, we found a blind amphibia hidden under the rocks, which Zaerion named Pooky. After about an hour we were able to kill it, and then after clearing the wurms that spawned, I went back to see if another amphibia spawned, and sure enough one did! It was quickly named Pooky II, and after finding out how to kill the last one, this one died much faster. The next day, I found that Zaerion had written a song in memory of Pooky, and I thought it was pretty good! You should get him to play it for you sometime. Anyways, I need to get to writing my next post, I'm prtty far behind.

Just a few things I wanted to write. On the side there you can see me fluttering with a pink butterfly. Some time before that I went to tgbg and got attacked by a mass amount of foxweir, I also gained experience from skinning a vermine and a rat.. and thats it.

master evus

Today I met my goal of getting 500 trainings with master Evus. I am training with Troilus now instead of any trainers in the barracks because I still want to have 'pure' Evus. Anyways, on to the action. All of the following took place within two (ooc) hours.
The day started well. There were seven or eight orga beserks running around east field. Me, Astral Duck, and Fiona killed them all. After that, me and Fiona continued to the lily pond, where met up with Thoomilicious. The feral cave was empty, but we did manage to find a few cmr and lsw. After that the three of us went to river tunnel. We were lucky enough to find a blood wyrm, which suprisingly we had no trouble with. While we were searching the tunnel we saw an odd sight. A few crawlers were swimming around in the river.
We then went to the wurm cave. There were many carnivious wurms, two large taxhis wurms, and a blind amphibian. Needless to say we needed a bit of help with the last one. Geotzou, Cyan, and Zaerion came to help us out. After a few rounds of fighting with it, it lay dead on the ground. After this, the group went to the river tunnel to find two blood wyrms. We got a bit unorganized, we killed were able to kill them on the second try. After this the group went to the rocky cavern. It seemed a bit empty to me, but we quickly cleared the place out and went to the lily pond. It was empty besides two swamp ferals in the loop, and an lsw on the beach. After this most everyone but me went to the library.

oops!

I'm back after a week! Had a great day today too. Many hunts and five ranks. The first was a lily pond hunt! Five lsw, no one fell (too badly). Enough said.
Next we went to noids. Great fun! We got lucky and ran into many blue ones.
Some time after I went on a rescue for some fallens in the foothills. It went pretty badly. An invasion of devil's leeches happened during the rescue, and most everyone ended up fallen (on the rescue and in town) Me and Oberon got out thanks to Toto and his chain. The rescue was postponed until the invasion was over (it didn't last too long)
If you are wondering what a devil's leech is, they attack very quickly like an AH, and they do slightly more damage than a normal leech, but have more atkus. Of the three I killed they were, a slotter, kill, and a kill respectivly. (I got to town rather late)
Later after, me, Ansset, Ding, Yosaku, and Taryn went to the queen's chamber at the hive. We got lucky here too and there were many spawns of juicy myrm. It ended with a tough and toothless queen. We were going to go to the river tunnel after this, but everyone left or something, so we didn't, but we did go to the lilly pond. An lsw there ended up taking down Yosaku in two hits. I got lucky and it wiffed me one of the times it hit me, and was slowly able to kill it (after Yosaku got it red). I had to leave shortly after.
When I got back I went on an undine hut hunt with Lorikeet, Measle, Darius, and Leinis. It went pretty well, except for this part. I probably should have ran away instead of letting them surround me.
After all that, I failed at the third circle fighter's test again. Killed everything but the rage.
Later, me and Fiona killed some swamp ferals at lp, until we were join by Hoggle, and later Amfi. There were four lsw and around 10 swamp ferals, and we ended up killing two of the lsw at the same time. (before and after) The hunt went nicely and I gained a few zu in the process.
Shortly after, I went to cold and snowy on cloud to help on a rescue. There were four polar bears that I saw. We took them out lsw style two at a time. Everyone scattered pretty quickly after those two died.

And then Sal got too sexy.

south forest fun

Today was a fun day! I have been in a good mood. It started with a hunt with Thoomi, Lapis, Koraleva, and Pun'isher. We were fortunate enough to have a large amount of artaks attack us while at the mirror sn'ell. I actually became useful and bricked some of them. We ended up killing them without having to run away (much).
Soon after we met three or four maha ruknee north of the ya'da sn'ell. Everyone fell but Kora. Great fun. Right after that we went over to the savanna. (Ansset and Kani joined up with us after they and others rescued us. thanks!) We killed many maha for the amount of time we spent there, and after we cleared it we went to the dunes. After three lsw, Ansset got hit to quite. We all eventually got to town after that.
A few hours afterward, me and Kitlin went to zerkwood. It didn't start out too great. Me and Kitlin quickly got seperated in that confusing place and fell. We were just as quicky rescued by Veer, Fuinur, Gunslinger, and Kani (again!). Thank you much! I am still very glad that you guys came to get us.
The final thing for today interupeted me writing this! Fresh off the feather stuff. Me and Nemesis went down to rescue Kensiro at kitty beach. Sound normal? Nope! 29 artak and many many island panthers amoung a maha! Groggy Lenk had to come for extra healing power. I left quickly so I could finish this up.

pants invasion!

Yesterday was a fun day. It started when math started dropping his pants! Then everyone else did. Great fun. Then ten hours later, vermine/undine/orga were all about north of town. It was really fun for someone on my level with all those 4th+ circle healers around. Made me feel pretty useful, until the orga fury came and made me fall. Summary of invasion; many undine in hut, then vermine in north field, undine hut again with a bit of orga and vermine, then north field again with vermine. Then it all over, lasted an hour or so. Nothing much happened today. While running around south forest I met a bear. The picture on the side is me running away! I fell about ten times cause of all the fog, and Janus was able to save me every time (if you see him /thank him for me :D) Later I got bored and went to the vermine tree, and what a surprize! vermine! there were a lot of them though, i lost count at around 50. Then after I helped on a MI rescue, I stopped by CI to find an island panther! Proof CI isnt 100% safe! On another note, after many training with Evus, it seems I keep Histia on her toes now! And thats all that really happened today.

Today started out normal. Went hunting in brambles with Lassair, and then we continued to the savanna. It was pretty fun and we both nearly fell several times. Every time I fell, Lassair always seemed to make the many maha disappear and was able to heal me saftly. Later Leggo joined up with us and we killed a few lsw. After we were done we headed to town, and when we got there we found that town was being invaded by scarmis! The invasion didn't last too long compared to others, but it was fun anyways. Soon after I went to study.

ferals in south forest

While hunting in the south forest I keep running into ferals! I didn't think they were native here. Maybe they just like chasing all the cats. Today was an odd day. Many scavenger birds came to town today, but they were quickly exterminated. I also seemed to have lost me best friend Sparky. If anyone sees him tell me please. Yesterday I went hunting with Lassair, Fiona, Creed, and Klio in the savanna. Most of us ended up falling in the dunes and a huge group came to rescue us. Earlier that day there was a big Astral Hunter invasion! Here you see me make use of the many rats.

cove gone crazy

water lyfe

I went to the cove yesterday hoping for a little fun. Unfortunatly the gods had something else in mind. After we got halfway in there was a huge harvester lyfe spawn. There were at least 50 of them, and soon after I was 'saftly' in the water a cold lyfe spawned out there with us! I went of the cove and the thing followed and fell me. The gods removed it soon after. I did not get a chance to see if it did end up lyfing me, because I am deep into my studies at night, but when I do find out you will be sure to know. After that happened, several strong exiles came and killed many of them, but the lyfe kept coming. There was also a super cold lyfe there which caused a lot of trouble. Eventually most everyone there went to town on a chain, I didn't go back for another round. Regards, Raul

exiled

I was exiled on Gradi, the 24th Day of Autumn 556, at noon. I am of the People and am a second circle fighter. who trains with Master Evus. I am getting close to being able to pass the third circle test. I can kill all the monsters in the test but the orga rage. I am getting close to my Evus goal of 500 ranks, which I hope to complete in two or three zodiacs.
I am pressed for time right now, so enjoy my hunt and if you see me in the lands tell me 'hi!'
